*Know how to multiply a whole number by a decimal  using 100 grid.

* Know how to multiply a decimal by a decimal using 100 grid.

Example: .4 X .6 =

*Know how to multiply two decimals using an array model.

2.6 X 3.6 =

* Know how to multiply two decimals by converting them to whole numbers and then placing the decimal point back in the correct place.

24.9 X 2.9 =             Estimate: 25 X 3 = 75

Multiply the numbers as whole numbers.

249 X 29=         Place the decimal point most reasonable to your estimate.
