Reading: Your calendar is due. next Monday Start working on the back of the log and make sure to get in signed.
Scholastic News: Read and answer questions on the back. Be sure to underline where you found the answers. (I will give this to you on Tues.)
Writing: Your final draft of Wringer/T. Rising is due. this Fri. no exceptions unless you talk to me ahead of time. Make sure it is typed and you have run spell check.

Math Test This Friday
Know the following Concepts for this Friday's Math Test:
Know how to add fractions using an area model.
Know how to subtract two fractions less than one using an area model.
Know how to subtract a mixed number and a fraction smaller than one using an area model. You can also use a number line.
Find fractions of a whole. For example, What is 2/3 of 21...... (we did this with a set model)
Know that multiplying fractions can be seen as repeated addition. For example. 2 X 2/5 means two groups of two fifth or 2/5 + 2/5.
Multi-Step problems: We will work on this in class and I will give you examples of the types of problems I may ask.
Hints for studying:
Review all your quizzes on fractions to make sure you understand.
Review homework and rework problems.
Come see me for help.
