Writing Homework
Tonight, writers, I’d like you to continue working on
your drafts. You may find that you have more revision work to do, based on the
Westward Expansion map you have been working with. Please also remember the
other lenses with which we can look at our writing to revise, looking for
patterns and asking questions.

Writing: Writing contest. Write a letter to your favorite author. How did their book influence you or change your life? Due January 5. $1,000 prize goes to the winner of the contest. $200 goes to the finalist.
