Mr. Shobar, Hallee and I do not understand how to do the homework assignment challenge? Can you tell us on how to get started and if there is a page in the math book that we can use to help us figure it out?

Thank you.

Mr. Shobar, second question for you on tonights homework...does the answer for all the questions have to be a three digit number or higher? The directions ask this only on the first question but not on the rest of the questions and Hallee seems to think this is the case?

It can be a three, four, or five digit number. What is important is in order to come up with a number one needs to make sure that the number fits the criteria for divisibility. Hallee should have the rules for divisibility in her notes from today. However, it can be found in the book on page 254.

An example of a number that is divisible by 2,5, and 10 could be
34,670 This number is divisible by 2 since the last digit of the number is even. It is divisible by 5 and 10 since the last digit is zero.
