1) Know how to find the missing angle of a triangle. Page 183 numbers 9-12 would be good to practice.
2) Know how to find the missing angle of a quadrilateral. Page 185 numbers 11-13 would be good to practice.
3) Know how to use a protractor to measure angles and create angles.
4) Know how to count the number of faces, edges and vertices in pyramids and prisms.
Example: If you had a prism that had a 51-agon as its base, how many faces, edges and vertices would it have. Use your handout that you worked on in class to study from. This is not in the book.
5) Know how to find the area of a triangle. Page 308
6) Know the difference between a regular polygon and one that is not regular. Page 180
7) Know how to draw diagonals in a polygon and figure out how many degrees a polygon has.
Example: In a 50-agon how many diagonals and regions would it have? How would you figure out the number of degrees. Use class handouts to study from. This is not in the book.
