Fair Shares: How do you share 5 cookies with 6 people? How do you share 3 cookies with five people? Check back in your notebook on this activity.
Fractions on a number line: putting fractions in order on a number line and explaining what strategy you used. (I am looking for you to use the 4 strategies we went over in class) Read over your notes on this.
Equivalent Fractions: Know how to make equivalent fractions using the fraction squares.
Decomposing a Fraction: An example would be to take the number one and break it into 1/2 + 1/4 + 1/8 + 1/8 hint: Use your fraction bars and break one into as many fraction combinations as you can. We did this in class the week we played fraction games.
