What You Need To Know:
The math test is on addition and subtraction of fractions.
-Know how to find common denominators so you can add fractions. You can use a rectangular model, fraction bars, or skip counting (least common multiple), to find common denominators.
-Know how to subtract fractions using a number line. Also, know how to subtract fractions using fraction bars to show regrouping. Making the two fractions into improper fractions would be another way.
