1) Know how to find the missing angle of a triangle. Page 183 numbers 9-12 would be good to practice.
2) Know how to find the missing angle of a quadrilateral. Page 185 numbers 11-13 would be good to practice.
3) Know how to use a protractor to measure angles and create angles.
4) Know how to count the number of faces, edges and vertices in pyramids and prisms.
Example: If you had a prism that had a 51-agon as its base, how many faces, edges and vertices would it have. Use your handout that you worked on in class to study from. This is not in the book.
5) Know how to find the area of a triangle. Page 308
6) Know the difference between a regular polygon and one that is not regular. Page 180
7) Know how to draw diagonals in a polygon and figure out how many degrees a polygon has.
Example: In a 50-agon how many diagonals and regions would it have? How would you figure out the number of degrees. Use class handouts to study from. This is not in the book.

Math Test Study Guide
Know how to multiply whole numbers and fractions.
3 X 3/5 = Know that this means 3 groups of 3/5's. Be able to draw it with fraction bars and change the product into simplest form or a mixed number.
Know how to multiply fractions times a fraction
1/2 X 1/4= Know that this means half OF 1/4. Know how to draw it with fraction bars and solve it.
A fraction times a mixed number.
Study from the Healthy Blueberry Muffins and Not So Chocolate Chip Cookies handouts I gave you in class.
Example: You need 2 1/3 cups of sugar to make one batch. What if you want to make 1/2 a batch.
Multiply a mixed number by a mixed number
The tile problem handout in class would be a good sheet to practice from.
Example: I want to tile a room that is 4 1/3 feet by 3 1/2 feet with one foot tiles. Exactly how many tiles do I need?
Division:
Know how to divide a whole number by a fraction.
3 divided by 1/2= (how many 1/2's fit into 3?)
Know how to divide a fraction by a fraction.
1/2 divided by 1/3=
Know how to divide two mixed numbers.
