Math:  Please do page 565 ALL and 566 6, 8,9, and 10.  Remember to look at the examples on page 564.  If you are not in my class please do the solve and share on page 563.


Writing:

Australian fires have imperiled up to 100 species

Read this article again looking for the authors purpose.  State the purpose in one sentence.

Sally had 5/6 cups of sugar.  She needed 1/2 cup to make a batch of cookies.  How many batches of cookies can she make?


Reading:  Please complete the three questions for the Scholastic News article that is up on my website.  REMEMBER to put yyour name on top left.  12 font double spaced in Times New Roman.

Scholastic News:  Backpage is due Friday.  After each question type your evidence from the article.

Reading:  Continue reading every night and working on your calendar assignment.

Writing:  Continue working on your research paper.  We will do a writing lesson one day this week:)

Math:   Try the following problems and do the following.

1. Write the question for equation is asking
2.  Is the answer bigger or smaller than 1
3.  Make common denominators
4.  Create a model

Writing:  Write a paragraph from the feature article.  Include the main idea and key detail.  End with what conclusion (inference) you can draw from what you read.  Have your parents make one suggestion when you have finished.  Submit your paper in google docs for a grade.  I am looking for effort and thoughtfulness.  In the comment box I will give you a grade.
